A visitor in Uganda!
From December to January, one of our board members from Werte der Kinder e.V. visited our partner association CVOVS in Uganda. He arrived with donated school materials and equipment for the local office. The community welcomed him with open arms, as is customary in Uganda, and was delighted with the visit from abroad. Traditionally, he was invited to be the guest of honour at a ceremony organized for him by the families and friends of CVOVS. They danced, ate and exchanged views on the current developments of the associations and their cooperation. If you would like to find out more about the visit, you can read Hilmar's report here
We are greatful for the cooperation and happy to send all our kids back to school!

Ceremony for the visitor
Hilmar visits the families with children in the project. Some kids even travel to town to greet him.
Our donations in Uganda:
Your money has arrived! The children of CVOVS received new books, notebooks and pens for school from the volunteers in Uganda before they start school in May.
