Cooperation

At the moment, CVOVS works on a low-threshold basis and supported by donations within the community. In the long term, however, a cooperation with a currently forming partner association in Germany is aimed at, in order to collect in one of the richest countries in the world for one of the poorest countries in the world. The local community knows the problems and the local association members see the needs. But left to their own devices, the people of Uganda can change little. Close cooperation with the German partner association is therefore indispensable. But to set it up and let it work actively, your help is needed! International service

International cooperation between the people of this world is promoted through the establishment of contacts between Germany and Uganda, the exchange of life realities and personal interactions. We believe in a world population that supports each other to overcome problems together. Everyone can make a contribution and become an active part of the world community!

Public relation

A long-term goal of CVOVS is to change Uganda's education system and public attitudes towards disabled children. Education as a fundamental right of all children has not yet arrived in the focus of society and politics. The chain of problems that follows from this can only be interrupted as soon as systems and structures change. This is a long but worthwhile journey and determines the future of entire generations of children in Uganda. That's what we fight for!

Fundraisers

WdK holds fundraisers to get people's attention and interest and to raise awareness of our work. Our volunteers in Germany help us with these campaigns and do advertising, distribute flyers and provide information about the organization. As soon as the partner association is officially founded, these volunteers can become members there and support CVOVS in a larger, official framework. All of the money collected will then be sent to CVOVS, where it will exclusively benefit the education of the children.

Management

Due to the small size and strong familial nature of the organization, distances are short and the money reaches the supported children quickly and directly. In Uganda, the tasks of administration, finances, etc. are divided among the volunteers and controlled by the director. The community advises and supports itself. Through the cooperation with the German, independent association WdK, additional donations can be generated, which will benefit the work of CVOVS.

Educational work

In the sense of supporting school children 

in Uganda, the protection of these children is also close to our hearts. Therefore, we would like to provide these children with knowledge about their rights at school and at home through educational work. In the future, we plan to offer workshops for children, parents and teachers on the topics of disability, family planning, the right to education and the right to a non-violent upbringing. Because enlightened children can live more self-determined lives and demand their rights. And we want to help them in this!
